We're all in this together.

Who We Are

We are Pam and Lori, two sisters with a passion for living a zero waste(ish) life.

Our story of creating an eco-friendly store started with a combined sister anxiety attack about how we were leaving the planet for our kids and discovering the huge amount of single use plastic and waste that's overflowing into our everyday lives. Struck with the need to make an actual difference, we decided to take on a personal project to reduce our waste together, meeting each week to tackle new areas of the house and our lives. The journey to zero waste living (or close enough) has completely exceeded both of our expectations. Meeting each week to test out new ideas and come up with new recipes was an amazing mix of Mary Poppins and Uncle Buck with a sprinkle of Greta Thunberg (thanks, Instagram). There's no tougher critic on beeswax wraps and homemade tortilla shells than children.

Initially we really only wanted to make a difference in our own homes. Over time, what we actually found was that we could make a positive impact within our community to reduce waste. The biggest bonus was that this journey brought us even closer to our families and friends, and it turns out that there were a lot of people that wanted to live their lives with less waste.

In 2019, we opened our Fulfill Shoppe facility in Port Coquitlam and started serving people in the Tri-Cities. We then expanded to New Westminster, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Langley, and soon Surrey.

We now provide a curated list of over 200 zero waste items for a diverse range of needs such as dry pantry staples, cleaning, beauty, home essentials, gluten-free, vegan, and much more. All outsourced from local businesses.

Before we sign off, we want to mention that living a low waste lifestyle absolutely comes with its challenges, we still are fighting plastic waste in our homes. You don't have to be living 100% zero waste to buy from Fulfill Shoppe. Really, it's going to take a lot of us taking many, many steps to change the single use system that has been in place for decades. There is still so much to learn on this journey of ours, and ultimately it's this very sense of commitment and compassion for the sake of mother nature and each other that led us to open Fulfill Shoppe. We're excited to continue our journey of zero waste living with Fulfill Shoppe and with all of you.

With heart & humour,
Pam & Lori

Our Values & Beliefs

Fulfill Shoppe was made as an eco-friendly store with delivery service first and foremost because we want to make living a better, zero waste life easier for everyone. Our values are all about caring and connecting for and with our families, our communities, and the world we currently live in as best as we can, every day. Partnering with other local companies and selling their products at Fulfill Shoppe contribute to those values as well.

We want it to be super easy to live a low waste(ish) life. A low waste lifestyle really doesn't have to be more expensive, nor does it require a ton of change to your lifestyle (even though it may look that way at first!). All it takes to embrace living a low waste life is by taking small steps forward in the right direction that make sense for you and your family. One small change at a time can have a big impact on your life and community. Spreading awareness and mentioning our cause to your own circle of friends, family and community can really make a difference too.

Learning About Sustainability

We love documentaries and podcasts! We listed some below that inspired us on our journey to zero waste. That journey ultimately led us to open Fulfill Shoppe and really work to make a difference in the communities we live in.
